Product Description

Vina Carpio Crianza Tempranillo D.O. Ribera del Duero is a wine made exclusively with grapes of the Tempranillo variety that come from vineyards with more than 30 years of age.

Aged for 12 months in new French and American oak barrels.

Due to the characteristics of the land and the climate, the tempranillo grape in the D.O. Ribera del Duero has an exceptional tannic concentration to produce aged wines. Bodegas Fuentespina controls 600 ha. of vineyards and advises winegrowers especially at the time of harvest, so that the grapes reach the winery, with the optimum level of maturation. A film maceration is carried out at 12º of temperature during 72 hours in order to obtain the maximum potential of aromas and after fermentation, it macerates 20 days more to obtain the body and structure necessary to pass it to aging. After the malolactic fermentation the wine rests in American oak barrels for at least one year.
