CLIMATE: Area with a special microclimate, which is optimal for viticulture. The low altitude means that the harvest of the grape is usually a few months earlier than in Castilla, with the minimum in winter of 38º F and maximum in summer of 75ºF.
The average annual rainfall is more than 700 mm, and the vines receive about 2,200 hours of sunlight.

FERMENTATION: Controlled temperature fermentation

AGING: Aging in French and American oak barrels for 10 months and another eight months in bottle

TASTING NOTES: Intense cherry red color, presents tone violaceous with nuances of youth. Fruit aromas that are assembled with mineral nuances and wood spice. The palate is structured, round with taninoe balanced and ample persistence of nuances and tastes. PAIRING: Ideal to accompany various chicken dishes, grilled meat opastas. SERVE: Between 16 and 18 ºC

LOCATION: Located in the northwestern part of Spain in Castilla y León on the border with Galicia.

TYPE Of fLOOR: Mix of fine elements, quartz and slate. The vineyards are planted mainly in humid, slightly acid soil and low carbonates.
