Monte Plogar Res, a ripe Spanish wine. This blend of Grenache and Tempranillo has a deep ruby color. The nose opens with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, clove, tobacco and chocolate. On the palate, there is a full-bodied structure, well-integrated acidity and velvety tannins. This dry wine which does not lack of body will accompany perfectly the tapas, the game, the stews or simply refined cheeses. The optimum operating temperature is 16-18 ° C.
It has a deep dark purple colour in the glass. On the nose a strong fruity red, with oak and vanilla hints, and a certain acidity. The taste is pretty decent in balance, with blackberries, redcurrant, cedar wood, some vanilla, and slightly stale. It has a medium acidity, a medium amount of tannins, and a short – medium finish. A decent/enjoyable red, with a crazy pq ratio. 3.4!
